Kanye West has emerged from his social exile and he’s right back to digging into people’s chest. After being banished for ruffling the delicate blonde curls of Taylor Swift on the MTV Awards, Kanye this time chose to empty his clip on much safer targets – namely faceless bloggers who have taken umbrage at his fashion selections.
Kanye, who appeared along with 70 other musicians and actors to re-record “We are the World” to benefit Haitian earthquake victims, was not in a charitable mood when he took his blog critics to task for questioning his attire. He writes:
“IT’S FUNNY TO ME WHEN FASHION BLOGGERS DOWN OUR OUTFITS AND THEN SUPER JOCK OUTLANDISH SH*T ON THE RUNWAY BUT THEN THEY DRESS MAD PRUDE AND DON’T LIVE FASHION,” Kanye writes. “WE LIVE IT MAN. F*CK THAT, WE LIVE IT!!! WE LIVE IT SO HARD PEOPLE LIVE THROUGH US! WE REPRESENT YOUR INNER SPIRIT!! “
Hmmm … Okay. Kanye West has since taken the blog down, perhaps out of fear of being chased back into isolation again. That would be the worst kind of punishment, because Kanye has made it perfectly clear that he craves attention and he insists on receiving proper recognition for his self-proclaimed genius. –terry shropshire
