Joe the Plumber Turns on McCain, Palin; ‘Big Ups’ Obama

altJohn McCain’s and running mate, Sarah Palin’s, not so lucky, lucky charm has turned rabid on the pair.  Joe the Plumber, aka Joe Wurzelbacher, now accuses McCain of ruining his life.

“I don’t owe him s—,” Wurzelbacher told a Pennsylvanian audience this week. “He really screwed my life up, is how I look at it.” Wurzelbacher said claiming McCain used him as a “ploy” because he “happened to be the face of middle Americans.” By default, he is also no longer aboard the Sarah Palin gravy train; she’s too reminiscent of McCain.

Wurzelbacher isn’t going as far as to support President Obama, but he has advised critics to lay off the personal attacks — comparisons to Hitler, because they “belittle the movement,” according to Scott Detrow of Pennsylvania public radio. “I think his ideology is un-American, but he’s one of the more honest politicians,” Wurzelbacher said of Obama. “At least he told us what he wanted to do.”

President Obama has gained a “sort-of” but unlikely friend, in all of the fallout. Will others see through the once McCain, now Palin smokescreen and distance themselves from “the movement?” Time will tell. –gerald radford
