Ne-Yo Stirring Up Trouble in Norway?

Ne-YoThe blogosphere is reporting that Atlanta-based singer, Ne-Yo, has had a run-in with the law in Norway.

Apparently, the singer picked up a few groupies after his show and somehow ended up at a restaurant with them. While they were reportedly lavishing him with admiration, a restaurant patron made some sort of untoward contact with one of the young ladies. That’s when a member of his entourage sprang into action with a little physical aggression.

When the dust settled, a busboy had somehow gotten punched out.

Upon leaving the restaurant, Ne-Yo his crew were frisked by Oslo authorities, the various blogs say.

While it wasn’t reported that anyone was seriously injured, the specter of lawsuits, of course, has begun floating around.

The incident has Tweeters all abuzz, stirred by Cincinnati Bengals player Chad Ochocinco, a notoriously avid Twitter user. He tweeted:

“NE-YO arrested in NORWAY for who the (bleep) knows what!” including, “#wherethe(bleep)isnorway.”

Another case of “entourages gone wild.” It would behoove these artists to leave unruly hangers-on at home when traveling internationally; there have been some nasty repercussions from tangles with the law in foreign countries. Not worth the risk …
