Producer Jazze Pha Launches National Weight Loss Contest; Says He Will Lose 100 Pounds in 4 Months

The richly rotund rapper and super-producer Jazze Pha is calling on all heavyweight hip-hop heads to drop the excess baggage around the midsection. He has declared a national war on obesity campaign and contest that includes a cash prize.

The Round Mound of Rap has linked up with Entertaincorp and Kenya Crooks, the “World’s Greatest Weight Loss Expert” and will craft the First Annual Jazze Pha Take It Off $1,000 Weight Loss Challenge.

Jazze is so serious about this effort that he has pledged to lose 100 pounds over the next four months.

“A lot of people depend on me. I want to live to see my children become adults,” Jazze Pha told rolling out. “I now understand that my weight loss isn’t so much about me as much as it is about the many people that I may inspire to live a healthier lifestyle through this movement to cure obesity.”

To top off the contest, the person who sheds the most weight during the contest will win $1,000. Three runners-up will get a spa day and makeover at Texturz Salon in Duluth, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta. They will also be the subject of a photo shoot with Drexina Nelson and receive a free month of group training with health expert Crooks.

Jazze says if there are winners outside of Georgia, they will be able to redeem their prizes in their home city. The contest will kick off May 24. For more information, log onto www.kenyacrooks.com. –terry shropshire
