Everybody deserves a second chance and the ageless and handsome El DeBarge is no exception. His highly anticipated CD, Second Chance, is his first release since 1994 and he hasn’t missed a beat. The soul crooner truly has staying power. Thanks to hip-hop greats Tupac (“I Ain’t Mad at Cha”) and Biggie (“One More Chance”), fans still have a thirst for the DeBarge sound. El didn’t go at his comeback CD alone. He enlisted the help of seasoned writers and producers like Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to keep his sound true to his roots.
