T.I. Reprimanded in Prison After Tiny Gives Him a Hand Job; Forced Celibacy Causes Problems in Prison

T.I. Reprimanded in Prison After Tiny Gives Him a Hand Job; Forced Celibacy Causes Problems in PrisonAfter being locked up for three months, T.I. apparently was having trouble managing his sexual frustrations, so his wife, Tiny, performed a sexual act on him in the visiting area.

But the two were caught by prison guards who separated them and placed T.I. in a “Special Housing Unit” with more security and less freedom.

Although prison should be a place where criminals are punished for committing crimes, the celibacy rule that’s strictly enforced is inhumane. If it is legal for prisoners to be married while in prison, it should be illegal to force celibacy upon them.

By eliminating conjugal furloughs, inmates have to find different ways to relieve themselves sexually. Most will masturbate and some men who would never consider a homosexual lifestyle outside of prison become attracted to the same sex.

As a result, prison rapes occur and the spread of HIV/AIDS and other STDs increase because condoms aren’t distributed in prisons. Some states don’t test prisoners for STDs and HIV when they are released, so the prisoners who engaged in unsafe sex in prison could spread the disease to their sexual partners once they have completed their prison sentence.

Currently in the U.S., only six states (California, Connecticut, Mississippi, New Mexico, New York and Washington) allow conjugal visits as a way for married prisoners who are in good standing to maintain their family’s bond. Federal prisons don’t allow it at all.

The psychological and social effects of forced celibacy in prison is horrifying and has become a dysfunction that is regulated by our federal, state and local governments.
