altWhile Clifford “Tip” Harris is serving a yearlong sentence in an Arkansas prison for probation violation, he continues to reap the benefits of his hard work and tenacity. His latest album, No Mercy, has hit gold status, selling about 160,000 copies in its first week, which placed it at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart; and the 2010 summer heist film, Takers, is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Tip produced the action-packed thriller in which he also plays the character Ghost, a skilled thief who enjoys an early release from prison much to the chagrin of his former comrades: jazz piano player A.J. (Hayden Christensen); woman stealing Jake (Michael Ealy) and his ex-convict brother, Jesse (Chris Brown); the professionals, John (Paul Walker); and the leader of the pack, Gordon (Idris Elba).

Bonus material includes commentary with director John Luessenhop and the producers — Will Packer, Jason Jeter and Tip. –yvette caslin
