“I believe in this jean line. It contours the body and holds us in. It has stretch to it. I’ve designed some really pretty designs,” she said in a statement to press. The actress showcased her upcoming, all-white PZI collection during the season opener of her hit reality show, “LisaRaye: The Real McCoy.”
PZI Jeans are constructed for real women with curves — a tapered waist, fuller hips and thighs. The collaboration between the brands, Perazzi Apparel and LisaRaye, is a business venture that’s sure to garner big profits for the line that can currently be purchased online at pzijeans.com and at Macy’s.
At a recent fashion preview in the new retail space located in a suburb of Atlanta, Perazzi Apparel’s vice president Claire Jason served as the moderator as the models showcased the spring and summer pieces which, she mentioned, would “include a collection of shorts.”
“Just to give you a little bit of history. We started in the back of our law offices. Dan works tirelessly to finance PZI Jeans, and we don’t owe anyone anything,” Claire says referencing her husband, Daniel Jason, the company’s founder. “We own everything. That’s a blessing, and that’s because of my husband. I do the mommy thing.”
They currently have a staff of 20 and ship internationally.
“If you haven’t had the PZI Jeans experience, [the new boutique] is here for you to shop or have a girlfriend denim party,” she says, inviting a crowd of media professionals and VIP customers who were enjoying blue denim martinis and hors d’œuvres.
“This has really been a tremendous experience, and it’s been a dream come true to be able to do this. When we thought about doing a store, [some previous] staff members thought it might be good idea to do it in it Buckhead, but this has been great,” Daniel adds, explaining the decision to open the boutique in the metro Atlanta area.
The jeans are offered in sizes 4 to 18 and in four different lengths – short, regular, long and extra long.
“Our price points are intentionally made reasonable from $69 up to $99. We run specials and have warehouse sales,” Claire offers.
