After a multiple episode stint on the BET record-breaking ratings giant “The Game,” actress Meagan Good seems to be continuing her small screen hot streak, joining the cast of the upcoming season of Showtime’s hit comedy-drama series “Californication.”
According to deadline.com, Good will play a substantial role in the show’s upcoming fifth season, being cast to appear in nine of the season’s 12 episodes. For the show, Good will channel her B-girl skills in the role of Kali, a sexy hip-hop artist on the rise.
Besides landing a major guest starring role, Good is also set to appear in three different films set to be released this month, including the all-star ensemble comedies Jumping The Broom and 35 and Ticking, as well the dark video vixen drama Video Girl, which Good also co-produced.
As reported earlier, another actor set to join the cast of the show, which stars former “X-Files” star David Duchovny, is acclaimed Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA, who’ll play a flashy hip-hop mogul, no doubt tied to the character of Kali.
