I was shipped the new Rollergirl Palette Collection from Urban Decay, and I must say I really like it! I have my favorite makeup lines, and Urban Decay is one of them. They sent over a makeup chart, so I thought I would try to mimic the look with the makeup palette they sent me. The Urban Decay products I used were:
- Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Woodstock Eyeshadow
- Verve Eyeshadow
- Black eyeliner
- Crush Lip Junkie Lip Gloss
- Eyelashes
- De Slick Makeup Setting Spray
I first cleansed my face, applied my moisturizer, then put on my foundation. I then used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I used a dab of it because you do not need a lot of this product. It covers evenly and has a shimmer gold look to it. I really love the primer, and it stayed on and vibrant all day. I’m going to Sephora soon to purchase more of this primer because this is the truth! I then added the two colors Woodstock Eyeshadow and Verve.
The Lip Junkie Lip Gloss in Crush was very sheer on my lips, not as pink as on the face chart picture, but it still looked nice and glossy and had a minty taste to it. As an African American with dark skin, you have to always do swatches with colors that most always look different on our skin tone. After I applied my eyelashes and put on some blush and black eyeliner, I sprayed my face with the De Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray.
I thought I did a pretty good job of trying to get the look from the face chart, and I really enjoyed testing out the new colors! I would like to thank Urban Decay for sending over the samples. You can find all of these products on their site or at Sephora.
