Ted Williams Heads Back to Rehab

Ted Williams Heads Back to RehabOver the past several months, America has seen the meteoric rise and swift fall of the golden-voiced former homeless man, Ted Williams. Although Williams, who’s dealt with both drug and alcohol addiction in the past, was seemingly on his way back to the top with a reality show in the works, reports recently revealed that the golden-voiced underdog has, once again,  returned to rehab, this time for “emotional” issues.

In an interview with eonline.com May 6, Williams’ manager, Al Battle, said that both he and Williams decided that the former voice-over phenomenon should return to Origins rehabilitation center in Texas for a 90-day program after being overwhelmed by offers and filming for his upcoming reality show, “Second Chances At Life.”

“All of the shooting for his reality show has taken a serious toll on him,” Battle said. “This is not a trip back to rehab because of a drug or alcohol relapse. It’s all emotional. Ted is exhausted. It was more of an emotional thing. He just needed to get back to his psychologists.”

“Second Chances At Life” was shooting in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Ohio, where Williams was discovered, and producers for the show are already discussing a possible second season of the series.

Back in January, Williams entered the same rehabilitation center to deal with his long-standing battle with drug and alcohol addiction but left abruptly after only a few weeks of treatment.
