Mister Cee is guilty after all.
A month after being arrested for publicly engaging in lewd sexual activity with a drag queen, Hot 97 DJ Mister Cee pled guilty on June 1 in New York Criminal Court to one count of loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
According to RapFix Live, the news was confirmed by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office. Officials say that Mister Cee is not being charged with a crime but a violation. As a part of the plea deal, Mister Cee must complete three months of unspecified counseling, 12 sessions in total, and that his case is non-sealable. Mister Cee must only return to court to prove that he is acting in compliance with his plea deal.
Mister Cee was arrested on on March 30 at 4:05 p.m. for receiving oral sex from a male prostitute, 22-year-old Lawrence “Brooke-Lynn Pinklady” Campbell, in a parked car after police noticed the two engaging in the sexual act in the SoHo area of Manhattan.
Although Mister Cee has pled guilty to the violation, last month, Campbell, who was not charged in the arrest, denied that he was a prostitute and claimed that nothing sexual occurred between the two during the incident.
“I just wanted to set the record straight and let everybody know that nothing, indeed, happened in that car… I feel like the media on a whole has made me out to be this person just to get at him for some reason or to get a story and it’s definitely not true.”
