Katt Williams in Trouble With the Law, Again

Katt Williams has a history of crazy public fiascos and run-ins with the law. But Williams’ most recent encounter with law enforcement takes the cake as his most bizarre incident of late.

Over the weekend, Williams was arrested in Palmdale, Calif., after a heated standoff with a tractor driver.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources claim that the incident began around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 11, when an unidentified man who was doing tractor work at a Palmdale house where Williams was staying was attacked by three women who, for unknown reasons, pelted him with rocks and dirt clods.

The man, who claims he sustained facial injuries during the attack, called his wife to pick him up from the home but when she arrived on the scene, Williams pulled up in an SUV and blocked their escape.

The man then called 911 and when the L.A. County Sheriff Dept. officers arrived, they arrested the three female attackers for assault with a deadly weapon and arrested Williams for felony intimidating a witness.

Williams was released from jail later that night after posting his $50,000 bail.

According to PopEater, following his release, Williams took to Twitter and posted, “if you admit to crimes on social networks or post evidence #youdumbashell.”

There’s no word yet on when Williams or the three women will appear in court or when further details about the incident will be released but we’re guessing that Williams won’t be talking about the incident any time soon. –nicholas robinson
