Sugar Shane Mosley packs a powerful punch in the boxing ring. But a stunning jab and swift movement couldn’t prevent the knockout punch from a divorce settlement. Mosley agreed on divorce terms with his ex-wife, Jin Mosley.
Although Jin never spent months training, or stepped one foot into the boxing ring, she is now the owner of three championship belts earned by Mosley. According to reports, Jin will keep the belts and turn them over to the couple’s three children once they turn 18.
Because of California’s divorce laws, Jin will walk away with half of Mosley’s assets, which include property, American Express credit card points and residuals from fights that Mosley participated in from November 2002 until February 2009.
However, since Jin filed for divorce in 2009, she will not receive any earnings from DVD sales of Mosley’s most profitable fights against Antonio Margarito, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
