Just a month after being released from an Arizona prison after nearly and following serving a year-long sentence, rapper DMX is, once again, in trouble with the law — he was arrested on Aug. 24 in Arizona for speeding.
According to TMZ, law enforcement officials reportedly caught Darkman X putting up drag race speed numbers when he was pulled over for driving 102 mph in a 65 mph speed limit zone. While processing the rapper for the speeding violation, police discovered that DMX was also driving with a suspended license.
DMX was officially charged with suspicion of criminal speeding, driving on a suspended and revoked license and reckless driving. He was released on bond, early Thursday, Aug. 25.
According to the gossip site, this marks the tenth time that DMX has been arrested in Maricopa County, AZ.
DMX recently walked away a free man from a Yuma, Ariz., state prison after serving eight of a 12-month prison sentence for violating parole. Since his release, the troubled rapper has been busy working on a comeback album, Redemption of the Beast and an upcoming reality show, which will focus on his life as a father as he reconnects with his 10 kids.
Unfortunately for DMX, if he keeps getting in trouble with the law, he may need to do a reality show about going back behind bars. –nicholas robinson
