T.I. Gets a New Reality Show on VH1

Fresh out of prison, rapper T.I. is already back at work, as VH1 has announced that the rapper, who was released from a Forrest City Correctional Facility in Arkansas on Aug. 31, will film a reality show that will follow his life post-prison.


According to a press release from the network, for the 10-episode reality show, T.I., who was released to a halfway house to finish out the final month of his 11-month sentence, will allow cameras to film him as he reunites with his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, and their children and adjust to life as free man on probation.


Fans will also get a behind-the-scenes look into T.I.’s multifaceted career as “a musician, a clothier, a businessman and an actor” and watch him as he works to record his comeback album and regain his throne at the top of the entertainment industry.

“Viewers have always connected with T.I. and we are definitely thrilled to show the next chapter of this incredible artist’s riveting life with this new series,” said Jeff Olde, EVP of original programming and production for VH1. “T.I. is such a multitalented artist and actor, and though he has had some setbacks, there is no doubt he will use his considerable talents to get back on top of both the music and film business.”


The unnamed reality show will premiere on VH1 on Monday, Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. EST/PST –nicholas robinson
