Leather always makes a fierce comeback when the weather starts to cool down. There are so many options to choose from this fall; leather jackets, boots, skirts, and even pants and leggings. We are most excited about the leather pants … but soft, butter-like leather doesn’t come cheap.
We keep seeing this look on both the runway and on celebs like Ciara, Halle Berry, Victoria Beckham, and even Kayne West. So we’ve put together four looks on how you can wear your leather pants this fall, and some steals we spotted that are up for grabs. -mckenzie harris
With Classic White
You can never go wrong pairing leather with a classic piece. Keep it casual with a simple cotton t-shirt underneath a white blazer like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. For an edgier look, go for a rocker graphic tee and a pair of motorcycle boots or high stilettos. Remember to keep it cool, not stuffy.
In Color
Opt for another color other than black for a softer look. Ciara is the perfect example wearing a pair of Rag & Bone brown leather pants and a simple loose white blouse to compliment. To keep colored leather pants from looked out of date and brought back from the 80’s, pair it with a neutral colored black or white top.
With an Oversized Blazer
It’s hard to go wrong with a blazer. You can take a laid back approach with your leather pants and top it off with a boyfriend blazer and simple tee underneath. Don’t stop at a simple blazer, try a tuxedo jacket like Kate Moss to dress it up or pair it with flats for a more comfy feel.
Get Fancy in Shearling and Fur
Stay warm this fall in shearling or fur. You might feel like too much of a biker chick if you top off your leather pants with a leather jacket … but if that’s your style, then more power to you. Both Halle and Victoria show the edgy side of glam.
