TMZ says they spoke with a source who revealed Murray is still reeling from being judged guilty in the death of Michael Jackson, and he has told various people, including his bodyguard and lawyers, that he has lost his will to live.
Murray is currently housed in the medical ward at L.A. County Jail, where he’s been for more than a week.
Steve Whitmore, the spokesperson for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. refused to comment about the reasons for Murray’s hospitalization. “A person’s medical or mental health status in the Los Angeles County Jail is protected under the law,” Whitmore said.
Sources directly connected with Murray told TMZ the doctor has no physical ailments and he is there because he’s on suicide watch.
As despised as this man is around the world, Murray should focus on his family and his children at this point. One set of orphaned children is more than enough in this horrible story. I can’t imagine what it feels like to know your actions led to the death of one of the planet’s most talented and beloved human beings, but I’m guessing it sucks. Bad.
While Doc Murray is in the medical unit, they had better not let him get anywhere near a vial of propofol. That substance is known to be deadly. –kathleen cross
