'RHOA': Apollo and Peter Battle at Kim Zolciak's Baby Shower: 5 Other Embarrassing 'RHOA' Battles

Typically, when fans watch “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” they can expect to see a catfight from one of the hot-headed housewives, like NeNe Leakes or Sheree Whitfield. But on the Nov. 20 episode, two of the franchise’s husbands, Apollo Nida and Peter Thomas, got into a heated confrontation at Kim Zolciak’s baby shower.

The trouble all began as the husbands and their wives were sitting at a dinner table together and housewife Phaedra Parks made mention of Thomas’ interview with UPTOWN magazine, in which he slammed a number of the “Housewives,” including Parks and Whitfield.

After receiving a verbal backlash form Parks and Whitfield, Thomas and Nida began trading jabs at each other, with Thomas citing Nida’s recent police scandal and Nida remarking about Thomas’ financial woes.

The argument quickly became more heated as both men stood up and got in each other’s faces. Thankfully, the argument was diffused by the housewives, who pulled the two men apart as security watched close by.

Once Zolciak, who was outside at the time of the confrontation, learned of what happened, she expressed her anger over the squabble. And though Bailey shared her remorse and humiliation over her husband’s actions, Parks explained that she was glad a fight didn’t occur, but believed her husband did the honorable thing by coming to her defense — even though he disrupted, of all things, a baby shower.

While this latest “RHOA” blowup is one of the most embarrassing that viewers have seen, it isn’t the first time that the cast members have lashed out at each other at inopportune times. Here are five other embarrassing “RHOA” battles. –nicholas robinson
