Beyoncé Advises Rihanna to Take a Year Off: 7 Reasons She Should Listen

Earlier this month, pop star Rihanna’s health seemed to be on a downward spiral after she canceled a number of shows on her world tour due to the flu and exhaustion. Though her health seemed to be on the rise in the weeks that followed, it seems like Rihanna is, once again, reaching her breaking point. But this time around, the Barbadian beauty is apparently seeking counsel from fellow superstar Beyoncé, who allegedly advised the young singer to take a break from music.

According to The Sun, Rihanna is currently on the final leg of her grueling 101-date world tour, but fatigue has been catching up with the singer and she recently threatened to cancel her concert in Dublin over the weekend.

However, an exhausted Rihanna called fellow hardworking pop superstar Beyonce for support and Bey apparently convinced Rihanna to finish out her tour but advised her to take a year off when it’s done to recuperate.

After the Dublin show was done, Rihanna posted an alarming tweet, saying that, “I’m so light-headed!”

A source close to the singer told the publication that, “[Rihanna] She’s just a young woman who just wants to have fun, but she was feeling pretty low.”

“It’s a mix of exhaustion and stress,” the source continued. “She’s been partying hard to take her mind off things, but there are days when she wakes up and doesn’t even know where she is because of the traveling. It’s no wonder she is feeling down.”

Rihanna currently has 16 more dates on her world tour to complete. If her health really is in as bad a shape as it seems, she’ll hopefully heed Beyoncé’s advice and take a break. –nicholas robinson
