Describe your deejaying style.

I believe that I am one of the most innovative, groundbreaking and energetic DJ’s of my time. I embrace all genres of music and I’m not only known for bringing excitement to the party, I am the party!

How is deejaying profitable from a business standpoint?

I let my skills and talent speak for itself. A true DJ studies his craft and then creates a strong enough brand name, which ultimately generates various event bookings and revenue opportunities. I am the resident DJ for the No. 1 club in Texas — Club Beamers. I also deejay for the Dallas Cowboys home games throughout the season.

Top three mixtapes of all-time?

[There are] too many great mixtapes out there past and present [to name three] … But some of the top mixtape DJs that have paved the way for DJs [in general] would be DJ Clue, DJ Envy, DJ Drama, DJ Jelly, Kid Capri, DJ Michael 5000 Watts, and DJ A BAY BAY, just to name a few.

Five songs that will get the party started?

– Jay-Z and Kanye West (“Paris”)

– Lil Wayne (“She Will”)

– Meek Mill (“I’m a Boss”)

– V.I.C (“Wobble”)

– Beyoncé (“Party”)

Five songs that will help partyers meet their significant other?

– Verse Simmonds (“Boo Thang”)

– Dream (“Ghetto”)

– Wale (“Lotus Flower Bomb”)

– R. Kelly (Take your pick … he has too many to mention)

– Trey Songz (“Invented Sex”)

What is the future of the DJ?

The sky [is] the limit — label and album deals, artist development, producing and more. DJ Khaled has shown us that there are no limitations to what a DJ can do in life. He said it best:“We the Best.”
