Takes Away Excitement:

Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant as teammates would have added to the excitement of the NBA. With many fans being skeptical of the NBA after the lockout, this trade would have given them a reason to enjoy basketball again. The NBA must be honest with itself. There are only six great teams that can draw a national audience. Stern and the NBA must allow those teams to be the breadwinners until other franchises figure out how to properly hire and maintain good talent.
