In 2001, After filming the music video for her single, “Rock The Boat,” in the Bahamas, Aaliyah and several of her crew members boarded a small Cessna plane on the way back to Florida. Tragically, the over packed plane went down immediately after it took flight, killing Aaliyah and the other passengers.
