Amber Rose Refuses to Forgive Kanye West

Over the last few weeks, Amber Rose has caused quite a stir after claiming that her former boyfriend, Kanye West, cheated on her with reality TV starlet Kim Kardashian. Though Rose called Kardashian a homewrecker, she has since apologized for lashing out at Kim, but the blonde beauty is now claiming she doesn’t accept any of Kanye West’s recent apologizes for his wrongdoing in their relationship.

West began showing his remorse on the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy single “Runaway,” which he revealed was written about her. Last year, West began dedicating his performances of the song to Rose, during his and Jay-Z’s “Watch The Throne” tour.

“You can always find something wrong, ’cause that’s what I did. I thought you’d always be mine. If I said I didn’t love you I’d be lying,” said Yeezy during an October show. Just a few days later, West gave an emotional shoutout to Rose. “To the city of Philly, I want to thank y’all for making the incredible person that this song was made for.”

At the time, Rose claimed that, although West was an “a–hole” during their relationship, she appreciated his words of remorse and held no grudges against him.

But now, Rose has apparently had a change of heart, claiming that West’s apology was insincere.

“At first, I was like, ‘Wow, maybe he is sorry for just not being a good guy and not treating me the way I want to be treated and talking down to me,’ amongst other things,” Rose said last week on MTV’s “RapFix Live.” “I instantly was like, ‘I forgive him.’ ”

Rose continued, “Then after he called me an incredible person in my hometown, he said, ‘Never find love in a strip club.’ And that’s when I was like, ‘You know what? Take your apology and shove it up you’re a–, because I don’t want to hear it.’ ”

The line Rose is referring to comes from the Watch The Throne track “New Day,” in which West tries to hand off some life lessons to his future son. It should be noted, though, that the song was released in August, months before West began apologizing on tour. Though West never says Rose’s name in the song (granted, he never mentioned her name in “Runaway” either), Rose believes that the line was aimed at her.

“He didn’t meet me in a strip club; he knows he didn’t meet me in a strip club,” Rose said. “He was just being a mean, negative person, and that’s one of the main reasons why I’m not with him. … I don’t want that negativity in my life. Don’t apologize and then say something like that. It’s just rude, and it’s mean, and it’s not true.”

As we reported last week, it was during this same interview that Rose also cried on camera while talking about the criticism and “bullying” she’s received over her relationship with West. Clearly, there’s still a lot of bad blood between West and Rose, perhaps too much for them to make peace with the past, at least for right now. But they’re not the only celebrity exes with a bittersweet — or just bitter — relationship. Check out these other romances turned sour below. –nicholas robinson
