McDonald s owner-operator Derrick Taylor honored Simeon Career Academy student Steve Taylor — a 2012 McDonald s All American High School Basketball nominee on yesterday.
The free community event, held at Derrick Taylor s McDonald s restaurant on Chicago’s South Side, celebrated Steve s success on the court and in the classroom. Local residents, WGCI personalities and even Ronald McDonald joined in the festivities.
Steve Taylor was grateful for the event and says that he will “train harder and grow bigger,” with his goals set on making the All American Games and the NBA in the future.
Of course he wants to play for the Chicago Bulls!
