But some folk are surprised that the shy, easy-going Babyface constructed such a pulsating, sensual song (“Rock Wit’cha”) for the bad boy of R&B. And Babyface was going to include “Every Little Step” on his own album until Brown sang it and took ownership of the up-tempo smash.
