Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned; a famous statement that’s come to light in recent days at the hands of two women who once fell for two famous men — one a dynamic boxing champ, the other a lucrative rapper and businessman.
The ex-wife of Floyd”Money”Mayweather and ex-girlfriend of 50 Cent have banded together and are bashing their former Hollywood beaus in a new interview. In the interview, Floyd’s ex, Josie Harris; and 50’s ex, Shaniqua Tompkins, air out their dirty laundry and accuse both men of domestic abuse.
In an interview with website MommysDirtyLittleSecret, the ladies reveal that they both had troublesome relationships with the celebrity men. Harris, who shares three children with the boxer, accused him of domestic violence in 2010 asserting that the he “pulled her by her hair off a couch” and punched her repeatedly in the face. For that incident, Mayweather is scheduled to report to jail June 1 and serve an 87-day sentence for misdemeanor domestic violence.
Harris explains that while both she and the boxer were violent, Mayweather took things too far after learning of a relationship she had with NBA player C.J. Watson. She also adds that a certain “famous friend” of the boxer watched the entire situation transpire.
“Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a d—-. I have forgiven him, I’m over it. I did my s—. I’ve hit him over the head with a Tonka truck when I found out he was cheating on me, ” said Harris. “We had a pretty volatile relationship. Anyone who knows us, knows that. For him to put another ring on another chick’s finger, then come over to my house and try to control me and who I’m having sex with [C.J. Watson] … I mean that’s just him,” she said. “I didn’t deserve the abuse, my kids didn’t deserve to see that. We have gotten into to it before but what was most disturbing is that my son had to get help for me because he had no idea how long it was going to last.”
“Floyd’s b—- a– friend was watching the whole time as he put his hands on me, he even tried to block my kid from leaving. […] He was a friend, we won’t say any names,” she added. “Somebody in Floyd’s camp, who is very relevant. I don’t even feel comfortable with my kids around him because I think he’s a snake. Any real man that sees another man seeing red and putting his hands on a woman should intervene, he didn’t …”
Similarly, Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of 50 Cent’s 15-year-old son, shared an abuse story about the rapper asserting that he assaulted her in front of their child. She also name-dropped Meagan Good, who she says was the rapper’s mistress.
“When he put his hands on me in front of my daughter is when I knew the relationship was over. I’d never fight any of the girls he was messing around behind my back with, though. Hoes are going to be hoes. I did have to call Meagan Good once. She claimed 50 was just a friend and he was helping her to get over a break up. She played her part well, as a good mistress does.”
Josie Harris is said to be penning a book on her volatile relationship with the boxer. –danielle canada
