When Bobby Brown released “Damaged” and “Get Out The Way” late last year, he wasn’t just trying to keep you on your toes. Bobby Brown is ready to release his latest project.
Brown will release The Masterpiece on June 5, 2012, his first album in 14 years. Although his engagement to Alicia Etheridge, the recent passing of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, and his relationship with his daughter, Bobbi Kristina have been hot topics, Brown’s attention has been focused on his music.
“I simply wanted to create a body of work that will take listeners on a musical journey; the style of music that will allow people to get in touch with their highs and lows and their joys and pain of living through song. At the same time, I am hoping to bridge the gap between good old R&B and R&B of today,” he said.
The first single is a song called “Don’t Let Me Die” and it will make its debut very soon, so stay tuned to rollingout.com.
Also, expect to see Bobby Brown making his talk show rounds as well. He is already expected to appear on popular shows such as “Ellen,” “The Tonight Show,” “Today” and “The Wendy Williams Show.”
