Mariah Carey has always been a gay icon and has spent numerous occasions showing love to her gay fans, but this week, Mimi decided to party with her lesbian fans when she spent a fun night out at a lesbian bar.
According to TMZ, just hours after President Obama made his landmark speech supporting same-sex marriage, Carey decided to trek to the Abbey in West Hollywood, one of L.A.’s most famous gay clubs.
Carey reportedly arrived just after midnight and stayed for about an hour and a half, until the bar closed.
The bar reportedly had an party in tribute to President Obama and sources claim that Carey had a great time while she was there, holding down a table full of women next to the dance floor.
