The former human resources assistant at Lloyds Banking Group was so infuriated after finding out how much her new CEO, António Horta-Osório, was being paid yearly, that she made a sarcastic remark about it on Facebook. “LBG’s new CEO gets £4,000 an hour. I get £7. That’s fair,” read her post. For the mathematically challenged, that comes to roughly $21 million a year. We can understand how she’d be irritated. But she should have kept it to herself.
