During a press conference on May 14 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Jay-Z and Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter officially announced the debut of the Budweiser “Made in America” music festival. The two-day festival will take place Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1 and 2) at Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. The event will include 28 acts spanning different genres of music including hip-hop, rock, R&B and Latin.

Jay-Z  will play a big role during this event.  He’s the host, an organizer — and the headliner.

You can purchase tickets to this awesome event on Wednesday, May 23 at Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.

The official lineup will be announced Monday, May 21,  so stay tuned!
