Evelyn Lozada Promises to Be 'Better' Person Next Season: Her 5 Most Dramatic Moments

Monday night’s episode of “Basketball Wives,” had many fans appalled and in shock as they watched Tami Roman bully and rob her cast mate, Kesha Nichols, for the majority of the jaw-dropping episode. And fellow cast member Evelyn Lozada, who’s had more than her share of catfights, says that she’s still reeling from the event, but promises to do better next season.

“Last night’s episode was a whirlwind of emotions for everyone. It’s such a sensitive subject for me because I honestly see it from both sides,” Lozada wrote on her blog in a post titled “A Change Is Going to Come.”

Lozada explains that she has no judgment to pass for her shamed BFF Tami Roman, but does admit that after seeing the incident unfold, she’s contemplating her role in perpetuating the show’s drama.

“I’m not here to condemn or condone anyone especially given some of my choices this season, however I will say that once again last night’s episode and all that happened forced me to look at and examine myself in ways that I haven’t in the past,” explained Lozada. “No matter what the situation is, I’m realizing that we as grown women are allowing ourselves to be placed in a position for judgment.”

Lozada explains that she and the rest of her cast are now intent on providing more positive images of themselves for the show’s next season.

“I’m confident that I speak for many of us on the show that when it comes to creating a better balance for television, we are all working very hard to do just that,” Lozada wrote. “Many of us are getting help for our inner issues and striving to portray a more positive image overall.”

Lozada continued, “Tahiti was just an example of all of us being a true work in progress … Hang in there with us, as we vow to grow and become better!”

Earlier this week, the show’s producer and star, Shaunie O’Neal, promised that VH1 and Shed Media would be working with the cast to make sure that there will be “no excessive physical confrontations” when the show returns.

Well, if Lozada is going to a “better” person next season, she’s surely got a long way to go considering her sordid past on the show. Check out some of her most dramatic “BBW” moments after the cut. –nicholas robinson
