Kim Kardashian has seemingly been floating on cloud nine these past few months ever since she began dating Kanye West. But a new report claims that it’s not her love life that’s got her feeling so high; it’s her alleged addiction to prescription pills.
According to RadarOnline, a source claimed to Australia’s NW magazine that Kim has a growing pill addiction and Kim’s sister, Khloé, is concerned for her.
“She’s freaking everyone out right now,” said the insider. “She’s taking Valium and sleeping pills. The last time she self-medicated was when she split from Reggie Bush [two years ago,] when everything felt impossible.”
“Khloé’s really freaked out by it: she found a bottle of pills and knew straight away what Kim was doing,” the source added.
According to the source, Kim began popping pills after enduring the backlash of her divorce from Kris Humphries and dealing with her nonstop work schedule.
Now, the source claims that Khloe has now issued an ultimatum to Kim: get clean in three weeks or she’s telling their mother, Kris Jenner, and West.
“It started with just a little bit to take the edge off or help her sleep, but she could become dependent upon pills, which worries her,” the insider claimed. “I think she’s secretly pleased Khloé found out because she’d have struggled to stop on her own.”
