In 2011 reports surfaced that Leakes was “revenge dating” Al Reynolds to get back at her arch nemesis Star Jones. While the ladies’ dislike for each other was evident on their season of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, a source connected to the star spoke out and assured fans that Leakes would do no such thing. “There is no romance going on between these two [Nene and Al] – they are just friends plain and simple,” said the source. “They have a common friend in Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada and there is no way NeNe would try and date Al to get back at Star.”
