Perhaps the biggest news in rap this week was the announcement that Jay-Z and Kanye West plan to Watch The Throne once again with a second installment. While there’s no official date on a release, you can bet that this will be the most anticipated hip-hop album of the year.
As far as OutKast fans are concerned, there’s positive news on the horizon. Big Boi has a title for his new album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. The album is about 80 percent complete, and according to the rapper himself, as soon as his solo album drops, you can expect a solo offering from André 3000. Passionate fans can only hope that once that’s done, then we can finally get the OutKast album that we’ve all been waiting for.
