K. Michelle Accuses MeMpHiTz of Abuse? 5 Other Abusive Relationships

On the premiere episode of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” series star K. Michelle shared details about a former lover who squandered money from her $2 million deal with Jive and “beat her a–.” And now many fans are wondering if that abusive ex-lover is none other than Toya Wright’s new husband, former Jive Records A&R Mickey “MeMpHiTz” Wright.

In a recent interview with radio personality Egypt Sherrod of V-103 in Atlanta, Michelle spoke about her abusive relationship and admitted that it was indeed MeMpHiTz who abused her.

“People did not know why I was miserable for three years in a deal, and people wasn’t [sic] around to see everything that happened to me at that record label, from that man, that abuse — whatever, people didn’t see that,” she said.

According to Michelle, she and MeMpHiTz dated for years, and he even helped her land her multimillion dollar deal with Jive. But, after the deal was signed, MeMpHiTz used the money on jewelry and her breast implants. And when the money was all gone, he apparently left her for another woman — Toya Wright.

When asked if she forgives MeMpHiTz for the abuse, Michelle said, “I wanna forgive him. I forgive him enough to wish him well,”

Michelle claims that MeMpHiTz has apologized privately for the abuse, but has yet to own up to the abuse publicly.

“He’s acknowledged it,” she said of his alleged abuse. “I think the problem with this situation is you know when somebody goes and says you’re crazy and it never happened, you can apologize to me through texts, but when you go to the world and look at the world and say you know what, I never did that, she’s crazy, that means you’re not sorry.”

Though the abuse has clearly left an indelible mark on Michelle’s life, she says that she holds no grudge against MeMpHiTz and his new wife.

“I wish them [sic] two the best … people get better. People change for the better and become different people,” she said. “It’s not about throwing shade. I wish them the best of luck, honestly, I do,”
