Ann Curry Announces 'Today Show' Exit, Who Will Replace Her

Savannah Guthrie

Savannah Guthrie is said to to be the favorite to replace Curry. Guthrie is already a co-anchor on “Today’s” third hour and could easily slide into the hot seat alongside Matt Lauer. Guthrie previously worked as a reporter in Tucson, Arizona in the 90s before obtaining a law degree and later returning to her news background via NBC. If she’s named as Curry’s successor, Guthrie will become the first lawyer to anchor ‘Today” in its 60-year history.
