Child Celebrities Turned CriminalsJERMAINE ”HUGGY” HOPKINS

At the age of 14, Hopkins nabbed a starring role in 1989′s Lean On Me opposite Morgan Freeman. Three years later, he was working with the likes of Tupac Shakur, Samuel L. Jackson and Omar Epps in Juice. In 1993, he was under the direction of Forest Whitaker in Strapped. Fast forward to 2011 and Hopkins gets busted for trying to purchase 200 pounds of weed.

200. Pounds. (*Note: Officers claim he also had 100 pounds of weed on him at the time of the arrest.)

Facing five years in jail for illegal control of enterprise, Hopkins stuck a plea deal which only cost him 30 days behind bars.

Round of applause to his lawyer.
