The 4th of July is unarguably the hottest holiday of the year and arguably the most fun — with the possible exception of New Year’s Eve.
An endless parade of fireworks, festivals, friends, bikinis, live music and backyard barbecues marking the celebration of “America’s birthday” is often played out in wild and spectacular ways across the country.
