Troubled rapper DMX was hospitalized this weekend after being injured in an off-road vehicle accident. On July 14, X went out for a morning joy ride near his South Carolina home, but lost control of his four-wheeler and crashed while riding down a hill.
X claims he flipped over and landed on his rear end, but says he doesn’t remember much else about the crash, except for the lights of the ambulance. Luckily he only suffered a concussion in the crash. It’s unclear when he will be released from the hospital, but the rapper did release a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed, smiling.
The incident marks the second time this year X has been in the hospital. In January, the rapper was rushed to the hospital for a case of food poisoning.
Fortunately, X is okay and all wish him a speedy recovery. But he’s not the only star to have a medical emergency in recent times. Check out some other celebrity health scares below. – nicholas robinson
