Floyd was sentenced to jail in December over a 2010 incident, when he assaulted the mother of his children while they watched. But the judge allowed Floyd to turn himself in on June 1, so he could fight Miguel Cotto on May 5th — Floyd won.
The Las Vegas Police Department said in a statement that Mayweather was being released early for good behavior behind bars.
Mayweather was originally sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence, but the judge suspended three months of that sentence .
Mayweather also pled no contest to two misdemeanor harassment charges when he also said he would beat his kids too during the incident.
In addition to the jail time, Mayweather was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and a 12-month domestic violence program. So far, he’s completed roughly half of both.
Floyd’s boy 50 Cent was among the group of people who came to school Mayweather up and can be seen riding shotgun when Floyd drives away.
