Miss Black USA Contestants Revealed
A scholarship pageant focusing not only in the best in African-American aesthetics but on the best in mind, body and skill kicks off this weekend with 30 beautiful black women. Preliminaries for Miss Black USA 2012 are currently under way in Washington D.C., recognizing the best and the brightest in fitness, talent and evening wear.
The crowning of Miss Black USA 2012 will take place on Monday, Aug. 13. Before then, organizers are encouraging fans to vote for their favorite contestant in the People’s Choice category and have provided a list to help voters decide. Each list includes the contestants’ colleges, celebrity crushes and other attributes. The People’s Choice winner will be announced during the finale. Voting ends on Aug. 12.
