Macy’s and Lacoste were the premier sponsors of the five-day festival, which showcased more than 60 independent films, workshops by Darrien Gipson, SAGIndie national director and Sheldon Levy, executive vice president at Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, attracted participants daily. Other sponsors included CNN, HBO, Lacoste, Saatchi & Saatchi, SAGIndie, and Martha Vineyard’s Savings Bank.

CNN bestowed The CNN Outstanding Documentary award to director Deborah Riley Draper for her compelling documentary, Versailles 73’American Runway Revolution.
