Rasheeda Buckner and Momma Dee of the ratings bonanza “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” are reportedly close to getting axed from season two of the show by VH1 network executives, according to reports.

The basis for the proposed terminations? Fans find rapper Rasheeda “boring” and conversely find Momma Dee as way overboard in her demeanor. The criticisms have prompted VH1 executives to reconsider inviting the pair back for another season, says hiphopnews24-7.com.

“[Rasheeda] doesn’t seem to fit in. There’s not enough excitement in her life … she’s too boring,” an inside source said, according to Christian Post.

For the balance of the season, the beautiful Rasheeda was unable to hold viewer interest in her marriage to her manager Kirk and their decade-long struggle to bust Rasheeda into the rap mainstream. More than some have speculated that Rasheeda used the drama she created with Kimberly “K. Michelle” Pate — questioning K. Michelle’s account of abuse by Memphitz — to draw fan interest in her that her business-music career could not.

Momma Dee, the mother of Atlanta-based rapper Lil Scrappy, “is renowned for her overbearing and exaggerated personality, some claim prompted widespread criticism throughout the season,” the Christian Post writes.

“Momma Dee is interesting, but she’s a little too much. The show took a lot of [heat] about the way they depicted black women … Momma Dee was one of the reasons that people were complaining,” the source said.
