Christian rapper Lecrae surprised the nation by coming within 25,000 units of having the top album in the country. Lecrae’s sixth solo album, Gravity, sold 72,000 records to secure the no. 3 spot on the Billboard charts. It’s an impressive feat considering that Lecrae is an independent artist on Reach Records. Gravity features guest appearances by Big K.R.I.T., Novel and Ashthon Jones.
Other artists to score big on the charts include 2 Chainz, Trey Songz and Rick Ross.
