There are currently 100,000 gang members in Chicago alone. Police have attributed a spike in murder to gang violence. According to the Huffington Post, the total number of homicides in cities such as Cleveland, Milwaukee, Washington, D.C. and Kansas City, Mo., each barely double the toll in the Englewood section of Chicago.
