Like many other former players, Warren Sapp is having a difficult time adjusting to life after the NFL. the Super Bowl-winning defensive end has $6.7 million worth of debt and the IRS is knocking at his door.
After being forced to give up his extensive Air Jordan sneaker collection, Sapp must now part ways with his multi-million dollar mansion. The home, which is located in the same exclusive neighborhood where Tiger Woods lives, is being sold at a bankruptcy auction for $3.8 million. Features in the home include an outdoor kitchen, home movie theater, fitness center, wine cellar, and pool with a waterslide.
It’s estimated that Sapp earned $60,000,000 throughout his career. He filed bankrupt in April and will still owe $3 million after the home is sold.
