It looks like rapper Webbie just can’t tame his savage side. After a very public feud with BET host Terrence J, Webbie has now been arrested for battery and robbery after allegedly kicking a woman down a flight of stairs.
According to TMZ, a Baton Rouge, LA police report claims that Webbie attacked the unknown woman inside of a Chase Suite Hotel early Thursday, Sept. 13, after being banned from the premises. Webbie allegedly kicked the woman down the stairs and then stole her purse and $340 in cash.
Webbie was subsequently arrested at the hotel around 2:30 a.m.
A rep for Webbie claims that the rapper met the woman the previous night and though Webbie denies assaulting the woman, he admits that he did take the money, which he claims the woman stole from him.
Webbie was released from prison late yesterday and plans to fight the accusations.
