True, it no longer shocks when comely, elite athletes disrobe for Playboy and other A-list magazines. The proliferation of nudity in multiple magazine spreads — most notably Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit “Body Paint” section and ESPN’s annual “The Body” issue — has desensitized the nation and the world to such sights.
That doesn’t mean that men have lost their love of ogling a perfectly sculpted heavenly physique. Not at all.
