Brandy and Miguel served as the headlining performers at the 20th annual “For Sister’s Only.”
Held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, the first day of the two-day festival featured workshops on beauty, fashion, health and special guest performances throughout the day.
Miguel was introduced by Kelly Rowland and hit the stage shortly after 6 p.m. and performed several of his hit songs, including, “All I Want Is You,” “Quickie,” “Sure Thing” and “Lotus Flower Bomb.”
Brandy hit the stage 30 minutes later and geared fans up for her highly anticipated comeback album. She sung a slew of her old hits which included, “Almost Doesn’t Count,” “Have You Ever,” and “Full Moon.” She took a moment to bring out R&B newcomer Luke James who sung his hit, “I Want You.”
Brandy returned and closed her set with her new songs “Wildest Dreams,” and “Put It Down” as her brother Ray J and daughter Sy’rai watched from backstage.
The festival continues today with performances by Elle Varner and Future.
